Bacco: Bardolino Classico DOP
Red wine, ruby red in color, with aromas of mixed wild berries, hand harvested.
We recommend serving it at room temperature.
A lovable wine, which can be enjoyed as an aperitif but also in combination with meat dishes, possibly of short cooking, such as sliced beef or veal escalope.
The name Bacchus was borrowed from the Roman deity "Bacchus", also known as "Dionysus" in the Greek Pantheon, God of Wine, Sense Pleasure and Fun.
Bakan: Rosso Veronese IGP
Red wine, ruby red in color, hand harvested, with aromas of red berries and with good structure.
We recommend serving it at room temperature, perfect when paired to red meat dishes from tar tares to beef steaks.
The name “Bakan” was taken from the Venetian dialect and it means “Farmer”, illustrated on the label there is, in fact, an old fashioned farmer, chewing on some straw as they used to do. The word Bakan is present also in the Trentino dialect, however the meaning is slightly different, much closer to “rich farmer” or “well off farmer”.
Sghei: Rosso Veronese IGP
Red wine, hand harvested and barrel aged, garnet red in color, with aromas of of red berries and wild berries, with a well rounded flavor profile but still with a slight astringency and acidity.
We recommend serving it at room temperature and waiting at least 1 hour after opening before tasting.
Sghei is ideally paired to red meats or wild game dishes, from the classic Italian dish beef “Fiorentina” to a Wild boar stew, it pairs also very well to aged cheeses.
The name “Sghei” has been taken from the Venetian dialect and it means “Money”, illustrated on the label there are, in fact, multiple kinds of coins.
In the Venetian dialect, based on location, there can be different ways of spelling the word “Sghei” or there can be entirely different words for it, such as: “Schei”, “Beseti”, “Becini”, ecc…
Mojer: Cabernet Veneto PGI Barrique
Red wine, hand harvested and barrel aged for at least 12 months.
Ruby red in color, almost purplish and with a well rounded flavor, with a slight astringency and a good acidity.
Its bouquet of aromas reminds of small red berries, such as mulberry, raspberry and blueberry.
The wine is mainly a meditation wine, however it pairs well with red meats dishes like stews and roasts.
We recommend opening the bottle 1-2 hours before enjoying it.
The name “Mojer” has been taken from the Venetian dialect and it means “Wife”, illustrated on the label there is, in fact, a young woman representing a young wife.
In the Venetian dialect there are alternatives to the word “Mojer” such as “Mojere”, “Mujer”, “Femena”, ecc…
